Each piece is sculpted by hand, bisque fired, meticulously glazed, then passed through the kiln for a final fire. Photos are taken in an effort to capture the colors as accurately as possible. Because of handmade processes, pieces could vary in color &/or effects - differ from the one you see in product photos - specifically when made to order. Small variations are possible. All materials used are lead-free & food-safe, thus heat-safe.
Glaze forms a thin layer of glass surrounding the surface of the ceramic, making cleaning similar to most glass items. While durable, care should be used - avoid dropping or tapping to empty. Glaze is slick until resin builds, beware when packing your first bowl or two.

All pieces are made to last, but ceramic is a slightly fragile material. Avoid dropping pieces or tapping on ashtray to empty.
Glazed ceramic is slick until resin significantly builds, so even a quick wipe of the bowl helps. I recommend cleaning regularly, but pieces can be soaked in hot water shortly to help loosen if necessary.
Glazed ceramic is also somewhat porous. This means pieces requiring water to function, like a bubbler, will absorb some water if not emptied after use. Again, I recommend cleaning regularly.
I am currently not accepting custom orders until after the new year. I pride myself on attention to detail & creating pieces personal to you. Production time on custom order varies, but I usually require 3-4 weeks. You are welcome to email me now about an idea to inquire more details.
